The Pastoral Council meet on the 3rd Thursday of every month, this is subject to change if the planning schedule is extremely busy or if planning a special event requires extra meetings.

We plan to have two meetings in the year open to all parishioners. This will give people an insight to the Parish Pastoral Council (PPC) meetings as well as offering new residents in the parish an opportunity to introduce themselves and have any of their questions answered.

It also gives people an opportunity to put their name forward as a parish volunteer for choirs, garden maintenance, cleaning and more depending on their interests and skills. We are always open to welcoming more volunteers to join.
Inniscarra Parish is very large geographically with both rural and urban areas with some of the eastern portions of the Parish now in the City Council.

Any queries regarding the PPC may be emailed to [email protected].  The parish office can also be contacted by phone on 021 4384794.
You may also contact Fr. Paddy Buckley 021 4385311 or Fr. Patrick 086 3831621.

Pope Francis on "Being Church"

Being Church means being God’s people, in accordance with the great plan of his fatherly love. This means that we are to be God’s leaven in the midst of humanity. It means proclaiming and bringing God’s salvation into our world, which often goes astray and needs to be encouraged, given hope and strengthened on the way. The Church must be a place of mercy freely given, where everyone can feel welcomed, loved, forgiven and encouraged to live the good life of the Gospel."
